Discussion about
I have a toilet that is old and very low to the ground which I am looking to replace. However it is in a small bathroom an the toilet itself is approximately 26" from front to back so I would like to replace it with something as small as I can find. After doing some research, it seems that most toilets nowadays will go as short as 27.5", but I have not found much smaller than that. Any leads would be greatly appreciated, with the caveat that it still has to flush well. Thanks.

Try American Standard FitRight, back to front is about 26.5" on 12" rough. The 10" rough model is 26" long.

Or Kohler's Rialto, 25.25" with a 12" rough-in: http://www.us.kohler.com/onlinecatalog/pdf/114504_4.pdf

Smaller than that, maybe try toilets designed for buses or RVs.

Are in-wall tanks toilets an option for the space? You have checked out Toto and Duravit? These would be in the 21-22" range.
