Discussion about
I currently live in a relatively new building that offers DirecTV (via MDU) in addition to Time Warner and RCN. In a few month, I plan on moving and have reached out to DirecTV as well as brokers to ask advice on buildings that may offer their service without much help. As an out of town sports fan, NFL Sunday Ticket package is a must for me. I know DirecTV now offers their NFL package online and if I had a balcony I could hook it up that way but I'd much rather just have one the dish on top of the building. With that said, does anyone know of residential rental buildings in Manhattan that are DirecTV/Satellite ready? Thank you!

our life revolves around DirecTV NFL ticket. brokers probably won't know. ask the super. your best bet for new installation is probably a smaller building (e.g., brownstone).

I am a walkup landlord in Manhattan and we allow tenants to install dishes on the roof....

While we are opn the topic, anyone know how many channels you can record/watch at once with Direct TV DVR? FOr example, on Fios, you can watch one and record another. Is this possible with Direct TV?

Playstation 3 Direct TV - NFL Package. If thats the only thing stopping you from getting an apartment buy PS3 and get the package. Plus its a BlueRay player and you can use it for Netflix. No brainer.

Thanks for all the help so far. I would prefer not to buy a PS3, spend another $350 on the DTV Sunday Ticket package and pay for cable. Please keep the good info coming.
