No he must be retarded to think you can stroll in to a plane with a gun and live ammunition. And the rest of them must be as well to spew the garbage they do with such a straight face.... And that's obviously giving them the benefit of the doubt. Otherwise they are bigoted and closeminded... At least you can't help being retarded.

And that doesnt change depending on your political affiliation.

I wonder if we will hear about his "stay" in jail. Really, we might find out what the incarcerated think about the tea party. I hope he makes a loud angry speech while he's there.

I just googled "caonima". Interesting.

The airplane is private. You don't even have first amendment rights on an airplane.

his 2nd amendment rights were not infringed, he broke local carry laws. which as a gun owner and a LAWYER he should have known. this story is weird. he's kind of a shady guy. conspiracy theory!

lucille, i believe the constitution overrides any local laws if there's a conflict

based on those teabaggers and radical Republican NRA fleaks' logic, if all passengers got a gun, no terrorists would be able to hijack a plane any more. those so called "pro-america" idiots should start a Guns on Planes movement long ago. Or they could slip it in the new NAZI law just passed by the senate

Caonima;
I suppose that argument works when a shallow analysis is done. But the fact if that matter
Is that America has some if the most lax gun laws in the world and yet we still have a serious problem with firearms. The truth is that firearms eventually find their way into the hands of unsavory people because at some point they were owned by so called "law abiding citizens". It's a statistical fact that your view on gun control is correlated with worse gun crime. Why people can't just accept that is beyond me.

saiyar1 "It's a statistical fact that your view on gun control is correlated with worse gun crime. Why people can't just accept that is beyond me." - another favorite of the left (besides name calling) "the stats are definitely on our side, it’s a statistical fact, why can't the opposition just shut up and agree with us leftists because we are smarter than the stupid unwashed masses and we know what's good for all. Even if we have to fudge the numbers like we did and still do on global warming. We are only fudging the truth because we are trying to create a better society for all"

Switzerland is quite safe, read up on their gun laws and number of weapons per capita they have there.

The second amendment is there to protect the people from government tyranny.

MichaelNYC, since you are focused on name calling, have you googled 'caonima'? I'd venture a guess that you'd find it rather offensive.

As far as guns on planes and the argument that the Constitution should apply, can someone tell me which airlines or airplanes are owned by the government?

>The second amendment is there to protect the people from government tyranny.
And yet, going back to caonima for a moment, he calls the new Senate bill a "Nazi law" but opposes individual gun ownership. Interesting.

let's distribute the guns to the right hands on all the planes!
