Anyone have any opinions about this company?

Relatively new, local company out of Long Island City. Been dying to try them. They hire and subcontract out the work for renovations, but hold the money in escrow until 7 days after the work is done then pay the contractors, so that you're completely satisfied. You can also just hire them to install stuff, like toilets, faucets and all that, if you want to save on having to pay someone to shop for the materials. I'm interested and would like opinions about what you guys think about their rates and if you think their business model is valid.

too complicated.
probably you are going to end up more headache.

Sounds like a pretty good business model, but I'm skeptical cause you are squeezing another party in the equation. Don't know which company you are referring to...

I don't like the idea of bringing in a third party. You'll wind up paying more, not less.
