Discussion about 15 Central Park West #PH20
Not so sound snarky or jealous or anything but what's with the oval MBR??
I could find a way to live with an oval bedroom without putting myself out too much.
Steal a billion dollars from the Russian people then spend it on grossly overpriced baubles for your spoiled daughter. Nice.
Harlem logic states that when you buy in the fringes of real estate bc a massive real estate bubble prices you out there and forces you to take additional leverage to close, the deflating of massive bubble at prime locals of real estate will magnify and increase the pain of the fringe buyers for decades if not generations.
@ breaster.
When you have $1billion in the bank, it will all become clear.
Not a bad return, considering what's happened in the broad economy over the past four years....
08/31/2007 Previous Sale recorded for $43,687,751
11/11/2011 Sold by Brown Harris Stevens at $88,000,000
But Weill had the interiors totally built to his uber high end specifications. And, assuming he paid for that, (adding to the base purchase cost) question is, how much will he wind up actually giving to charity?
"Steal a billion dollars from the Russian people then spend it on grossly overpriced baubles for your spoiled daughter. Nice."
And where do you think he got his billions in the first place?
You don't think all that U.S. aid to Russia since the '90s really went to *building democracy*, do you?
Mr. and Mrs. American Taxpayer are the ones who really bought this apartment.
But the Chinese own more of America then Mr. and Mrs. American Taxpayer, so the Chinese are the ones who really bought this apartment.
"But the Chinese own more of America then Mr. and Mrs. American Taxpayer, so the Chinese are the ones who really bought this apartment."
That is not true at all.
The Chinese "own" us ON PAPER.
I'm talking about REAL DOLLARS that were siphoned out of every single U.S. paycheck, into the federal coffers, and sent directly to Russia.
Matt please educate us all on how PAPER sold to chinese is different from PAPER 'REAL DOLLARS' are printed on?
None of it came directly out of YOUR or MY paycheck. That's the difference.
In addition to the renovation costs that Weil will probably deduct from the proceeds going to charity, wonder what would be the appropriate opportunity cost for having his funds tied up in the apartment. 8% p.a.?
>None of it came directly out of YOUR or MY paycheck. That's the difference.
Matt, you are self employed.
>In addition to the renovation costs that Weil will probably deduct from the proceeds going to charity,
Probably deduct? What is the basis of that assumption?
Who'd a thought that s--t would bring that much cold hard cash? He made his billions in fertilizer... no sh--
A hottie 22 yr old Russian blonde with an 88M penthouse and a mysterious oligarch father.......
This is the plot to a Bond movie
Right?
"Matt, you are self employed."
You realize self-employed people pay income taxes, too, right?
Does these mean that Dan Loeb's apartment is worth $100 million?
