Waiting and hoping for prime location Manhattan real estate condos/coops with good layouts, nice views/light in good condition with fair cc's/maintenance/real estate taxes to drop to $500/square foot in non-land lease, well run buildings - they've been saying here it will be happening - any day now!!!!

Buying a Beneteau 57 in Greece so that my poor renting children can spend the summer of 2012 cruising the meds. Then having it sailed to miami where I will sell it to some rich Chinese fk who can't sail!!!!! For my price plus 20%.

The whole yacht is costing me 1/3 of a studio on west 42 wo water views!!!!!

I'm having a great time waiting for $500psf. How's it feel to sit on a de leveraging bubble 'home' as a glorified prepaid renter. Ooops, I mean landed gentry.

Feliz navidad. Crack open a corona light for me. Double limes and please don't block my view of the ladies worthy of bikinis. To the others, please act your BMI and cover up.

By counting how much less money I pissed away renting my apt over the last year compared to if I'd bought it. The difference is more than everything I spent last year, rent included. Sure I could have bought a much-lesser home and spent the same amount, but what's the point? I am thankful I have enough sense to take advantage of a good thing when I see it. Here's to another year of "rich foreign investors" feeding money to developers building high-priced apts that then get rented to me on the cheap.

inonada spends his Christmas counting his money?

I spend mine with visiting family.
And I'm not even a "rich foreign investors", so why would family even want to spend time with me?
