Discussion about
I am trying to figure out the approximate cost of returning an apartment to its original classic 8 lay out. Years ago a one bed was carved off and turned into a separate studio. I have purchased that studio and want to return the apartment to its original layout. The work will involve 1. expanding a corridor (knocking down a existing wall and rebuilding one 2 foot further out) 2. removing a kitchen. 3. removing 90 sq ft of tile and replacing it with hard wood floor matching an existing herringbone pattern. 4. relocating a font door and wall . Am I talking $50k , $100k , $150k? Any rough estimates will be very helpful.

Movingonup,

I would be happy to help you. Without actually seeing the space it is very difficult to give you a price. It would not be 150k, 100k, it might not even be 50k

are you replacing the kitchen? Do you have pictures you can send me? prime renovations@mac.com
