Discussion about
I am currently in contract on a 1800 sq ft unit. The apartment is in great shape, renovated new condo conversion in 2004. high end appliances/fixtures. hard wood floor is in great shape. all i will be doing is repainting (white) the whole unit and re-finishing the hardwood floors throughout. i will also be re-grouting and glazing/polishing the bathrooms. would anyone have an estimate on the cost that i'll be looking at? also, how long would you think this should take to complete? thanks!

If you want non-English speaking floor and painting guys who just did our apartment I can put you in touch. The quality of work is excellent. Very reasonable prices.

Maineiac,

I can give you a budget but a coup,e of questions

1. What do you mean glazing/polishing the bathrooms? Are you referring to the tubs?
2. How big are the bathrooms that you need grouting? What kind of tiles?

Primer,

1) Yes sorry, glazing of the tubs (however i'm not sure that they need it but i'd like to try to make them "like new" so that i move in to a nice clean home.

2) Master Bath is 12'x8'10". 2nd bath is 8'*6'8". Half bath is 5'3"x5'11". Tiles are roughly 3"x5".

Thanks

Call Jamie at 917-446-5175. He will be able to help you with a paint estimate. He is highly recommended on Brownstoner.com in Brooklyn for painting and plastering .

Maineiac,

Without seeing it I will say it would be around $17,000.00. It should take 2 weeks but will take 3 weeks

shrewd move to do the floors while apt is empty, even if they're in decent shape--do extra poly coats while youre at it
