Tile Refinishing/Painting

Hey everyone, My new (to me) apartment has terrible pink and brown speckled tile on the bathroom walls (floor to ceiling). Does anyone have any experience with painting or refinishing bathroom tile? I would like to keep costs to a minimum so DIY would be ideal, as in a few years I would like to gut reno the bathroom. Thanks

I do not recommend painting your tiles. I do have a great guy to reglaze them. That will hold you over for a couple of years.

The tub usually costs around $300.00. It has been a long time since I reglazed tiles but I would think $600- $1,000.00
