why is my streeteasy searched so f'd up?

For too long, I'd plug in all the neighborhoods I was interested in and search for what was new or reduced. Then, finally, I made a search and it's just completely meaningless. For 6 months the same downtown brooklyn condos are the newest things there. And this one place in Carroll Gardens -- gah. Even the ones in contract -- always newest!. Am I doing something wrong or is someone gaming the system by updating these listing daily and making my streeteasy a waste of time
