It's no limelight. Worth about $750,000, in my opinion.

The auctioneer has it listed, meaninglessly, for $400,000 on SE.

Probably right. My guess is it needs 1.5 million and 2 years of work (thanks to the lovely people at the landmarks dept). End result is probably worth. $2.3 million.

maybe impossible to convert a church to family home

a possible work-around is to form your own religion and convert this church to your own temple

caonima, except the property has been withdrawn from the auction. what's more, the auction house did not announce the acceptance of an offer--I found out about the change in status accidentally.
