Discussion about
Any reason this building seems to be priced so low? Pretty high maintenance but not out of control.

We looked at a few apartments here around three years ago, most quite competitively priced. Once was particularly nice, but we didn't pull the trigger only because we were still in "education mode". Two were dumps, badly in need of renovation.

I've heard some funny things about the building over the past few years, including an unreasonable board (which of course may not still be the case), unpleasant neighbors (which of course may not still be the case), and poor upkeep of apartments and elevators (which of course may not still be the case).

Building looks a bit run down. Apartments are small. You would expect more from the Village.

Maintenance is quite high for the size of apts and not as tax deductible as other buildings. co-op requires 25% down payment. there is a parking garage next door that could undergo construction. i've also heard the building has had financial trouble in the past.
