Discussion about
Anyone lived or looking in this building? Looking for opinions, especially on floor noise and wall noise. Seems like there is a lot of turnover, but it is a big building. Financials? Good board?

I used to live across the street from this building and have looked at apartments there. The floorplans are generous and the construction is typical for its era (1960s). It's not the place to go to avoid noise since there is literally a bus stop outside of the front door and the east side faces Broadway. I get the impression that the board is not crazy strict, but they do make an effort to keep out students. It's not an even remotely attractive building, both inside and outside, but the best amenity of all is heavily subsidized parking (for which there is a waiting list).

Thanks very much for the info. We can deal with street noise especially with city windows but neighbor noise drives us crazy. If anyone has feedback on that issue I am very interested.

I lived there for 14 yrs. it's a great well-run bldg. Floorplans are generous. I never ever heard a peep from my neighbors. The floors and walls are solid...concrete? Outside noise can be brutal however.
