This is a real life, right now, rent vs. buy... It's like 'Let's Make a Deal' where Monty Hall says,"Do you want the big mortgage, down payment and, monthly charges behind curtain #2 or would you like to bang Carol Marol"? [less]
I'd negotiate her down to $5k/month then Bang the heck outta carol Marol. Then after a year I'd bid $800k, if she dont take the marriage. I'd rent for $4k for another year and bang the heck out of it. After a year later when her azz starts to droop, I'd bid $600k. Then ask for an open marriage.
Btw. Saw that unit. Needs work.
If you can afford either proposition, it doesn't really matter what you end up doing.
You have already won.
