Discussion about
Was wondering what everyone's take was on the open house scene yesterday. Was out the previous weekend and it was very slow and uninspiring. Football was give as the excuse. Next Sunday is the Super Bowl. We just got past the slow holiday season. Any signs of a "wake up"?

Next Sunday is the Pro Bowl. The following Sunday (2/5) is the Super Bowl.

Not being mean... but it is telling that someone who doesn't know when the Superbowl is was out yesterday looking at open houses.

In Stmj's defense. I am pretty sure the Super Bowl is next Sunday. They are off this Sunday.

Fine, I screwed up - over the past several years there was talk of going back to one week and dropping the ridiculous two week, over done, over hyped prologue. Anyway, back to the original question (SE is a real estate site, no?) - how were the open houses??

Went to preview a 1-BR at the Ansonia. First open house. Decent traffic -- there were people going out when I went in, and coming in when I went out.

The Pro Bowl is the NFL All-Star Game held in Hawaii every year. Count on no Giants or Patriots players.

That is correct, rmrmets. The NFL excuses all Pro Bowl players that make the Super Bowl and appoints replacements.

(*a -hem*)

MORE importantly are the Super Bowl commercials. Remember the little kid in the Volkswagen ad last year dressed as Darth Vader?

Well, this year, be prepared to feel the awesome power of the BARK SIDE OF THE FORCE!
