Discussion about
Does each GC have a minimum size in mind before considering a job? If I had a budget of 20k for a "small" update (re-finish floors, paint, new kitchen counter, etc), would it be too small for some GCs, or does it really just come down to how busy they are?

Stuvwxy99,

It really depends. Most of the projects I take on are bigger in nature but sometimes I like to take on projects that are smaller. If we are busy we will turn down big projects just as we would smaller ones. We are starting a project on Monday that is $15,000

We just blogged about a project that was on the small side http://www.primerenovationsnyc.com/blog

$20k is not a small amount for most of the small GC's :)

Let me know if you need one
