This NYT article describes alternate similar-feeling neighborhoods for people priced out of somewhere. Their alternative for Hell's Kitchen is LIC. I thought I'd post the link in hopes of fueling the dwindling stevejhx vs LIC-denizens fire: http://www.nytimes.com/2012/01/29/realestate/so-youre-priced-out-now-what.html Isn't that always the way? The closest of siblings have the most heated of arguments.

Most of us don't care about either neighborhood. Glad to hear that you have so much invested in one or the other.
