I am looking for other brokers input and if anyone has gone thru what I have and their outcome. I took a sales client out to see a property at an open house and registered her with the sales agent. She later went back to the property and purchased it through another broker. The sellers agent never contacted me that my client had gone back to see the property or that she closed on it. Am I entitled to a part of that commission?
tough. she did not sign an exclusivity agreement for you to be the broker representing her, and could change representation. Poor manners, yes, but legally are you entitled ? likely not. I am not an attorney however.
