How are lofts valued in the market?

Discussion about
Are lofts valued differently from normal apartments? Are they valued at a discount or premium? Are they likely to hold their value in a market downturn? Any insights will be appreciated. Thanks.

High ceiling apartments are always desirable over their lower ceilinged comparables. Then it's up to location, condition, etc.

Other than that, some buyers like open layouts and some don't.
