Living at the virtual edge of what is essentially a 6 lane highway.
Noise might be the least of your problems.
At least there's no trucks to spoil all that pure carbon monoxide.

prevailing winds make that an issue for those to the east :) I doubt the air quality there is any worse than anywhere else in Manhattan, which is surrounded by highway and filled with cars. Please!

I think the FDR is actually 4 lanes there.

It is actually six lanes there gcondo, as well as throughout most of the rest of the FDR.

prevailing winds...maybe they might rescue you from a fart, not SIX lanes of non-stop never ending highway traffic.
I can't believe that folks jog next to all those cars.

i once took a run along the FDR and found it wretchingly awful--it is, in fact 6 lanes at 72nd st--and I agree that, even if winds disperse some of the exhaust some of the time.........

haha, six lanes indeed. but that doesnt change the fact that all of manhattan is awash in vehicle exhaust.

ante148, there must be a door opposite the door to the gallery lol.
