Discussion about
Ever had a landlord hit on you?
You're in a wheelchair and your landlord hit on you ?!
@Truth
Last I heard, people in wheelchairs are still people. What's so shocking?!

What?
Landlords are not people too? If you own rental properties does that make you incapable of getting the hots for a tenent? Landlords that rent properties that are special needs friendly are a rare breed. Prehaps they have had a family member in a similar situation or prehaps they are hot for folks in wheelchairs or prehaps the chair has nothing to do with it (it's just the person). Your landlord is not your doctor. The problem is that for a tenent that does not have reciprical feelings the future arrangments could get dicy. On the other hand if the landlord turns out to be your type...love, happiness, free rent.
There are stories of creepy landlords that prey on young girls/boys with money troubles. Despicable!
Chill down SunnyD...we already have our fair share of church ladies on this site.
@falcogold1
You are really talking out of your ass! It's clear that you have not been able to follow the tone of the discussion here. That's okay. Reading comprehension (and, apparently, spelling) is not everyone's strong suit. Better luck, next time.
Talking out my ass?
SunnyD...smell my breath AND chill out.
SunnyD: That's just the ol falcogold charm.
I've been in a wheelchair. I wasn't shocked, just surprised.
It seems that a landlord would open himself up to other problems with discrimination against the disabled. Unless he hits on all of his other tenants (maybe he does).
It looks like NYRentalBible is bothered to the point of looking for a new apt. according to his/her other thread about good places to rent for a person in a wheelchair.
Nothing wrong with being a churchlady. Especially if you can play the drums ;)
