Painting a Rental Unit

Discussion about
Is there a requirement that a rental unit be repainted every 3 years? From usual wear and tear the paint has started to peel in some corners/seams, and I think a fresh coat would do the trick If this is so, can anyone point me to the relevant housing code that spells out? thanks

If your unit is in a co-op or condo the owner is not required (by law) to re-paint.
