Discussion about
I have an oddly shaped one-bedroom that I'm re-furnishing. I need some advice on layout options and built-in storage options and I'm wondering if any of you have an interior designer you can recommend. My aesthetic is very modern and minimalist, so I don't want someone who is going to recommend fluffy pillows and slip-cover couches. Any recommendations would be very much appreciated!

So, I get it that I can't post my apartment for sale or rent here, as StreetEasy tries to make money off of that.

but why allow others to peddle themselves here? There is no guarantee that any of these contractors/peddlers are not scam artists, overpriced, etc etc etc. Why doesn't streeteasy remove these posts too?

Gcondo,

What guarantees do you get with anyone? I am sure the people who come on this site check references as well as meet with many different people before hiring them.

Would it make a difference if I told you that the guys who run BuiltInstudio graduated from one of the best architectural schools in the country? Would it matter if they worked for Costas Kondylis working on projects such as the Plaza Hotel?

Could it possible that some of us Peddlers are really just trying to help?

Wouldn't it be a shame if they removed the posts from people trying to help? The posts I see from you generally do not seem to help it is more like complaining because you had a bad exper

streeteasy is not a public property and have a right to decide for what service they want to charge.
