Discussion about
I have marble floors in my kitchen and two baths. They are dulled, a couple of tiles have liquid stains, and a couple of other tiles are cracked/broken. Any hope of refinishing it to look like new again or would I be better off buying new marble or other tiles? Who does good marble restoration work? Thanks.

Marble will etch, stain, and dull if not properly taken care of. Ideally, you need to seal the stone every 6 or so months. A good fabricator should be able to polish/buff out some of the stains. As for the cracked pieces--nothing to do about that except replace.

If you do decide to replace the entire surfaces, I would strongly recommend going with porcelain tile rather than marble. Much more durable--less likely to crack and stain.

Rip it up and replace with linoleum.
