Nice location, but what a peculiar layout. For that price in Wburg you should have a place that already has been redone well. This is just a giant rectangle. Kitchen looks awful and impractical. Would give it a pass.

50% overpriced! Move on!

It's definitely sparse, but I think that's a good thing. The kitchen's really not that bad, and the location is actually pretty great. Close to but not right on top of much of what's going on in the neighborhood.

As for the pricing, ignoring sledgehammer's in-depth and highly detailed reasoning, I don't think it's that overpriced. You're looking at ~$680/sqft (though I'd obviously negotiate), for a true loft here, with rather low monthlies. So while the broker babble in the listing is laughable, it's not exactly helpful to blabber a trite "50% overpriced" and leave it at that.

Ignore Bjw's comments, they come with an agenda! She/He bought in Williamsburg at the peak of the market and would hate to see his/her own investment go down ...

sledgehammer, hilarious that you read agenda in that assessment. Where do you see me saying "buy, buy, buy!"? And yet you offer not a shred of evidence as to why this is "50% overpriced." Sounds like you have more of an agenda here than anyone.

Thanks for the feedback all - I also don't think its totally overpriced given location and size. Definitely would be nice not to have to pay the mansion surtax on it though.
