The listing states this a walk up. The renovation looks slickly appealing aside from the, um, taste-specific wallpaper in the bathroom. It has some drawbacks (small bedrooms, lack of closet space, no separate kitchen), but it would work well for a couple who want an office / guest room. The building is comprised of smaller units, so it suffers from the "nicest house on the block" syndrome, but the ceilings, windows, and light look great.

It's a listing saved by a lot of users, which probably means more curiosity than actual purchase intent. The owners did a nice job with a renovation and it is a good location with nice southern light, but it's ~$250K more than the 4th floor (though 4th floor has no skylight obviously), it is a walkup, it is a tenement, and probably the hallways look like crap. Who takes out the garbage? Also the $997,500 tells that pricing reductions are going to be tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny ... before it gets more reasonable.
