Discussion about The Carlton East at 220 East 57th Street in Sutton Place
An owner has to pay 30% of annual maintenance (in addition to the annual maintenance) as the fee that is charged per year to sublet the apartment. Seems to be pretty high, isn't it? Any opinions?

The maintenance fee is too damn high! Opinion: find a place without amenities and low monthlies.

At least they allow you to sub-let, not all coops do.
The fee is usually tied to the rent but this makes some sense. Percentage might be a little high.
