Gabriel Bullaro is the most racist realtor that I have ever encountered.
Looked at me up and down and asked me if I was sure I could Afford this apartment. At the time I didn't want to take it personal, so I ignored the comment.
A few days later we had a phone conversation and I asked him for the total fees to move in. Told him that me being from Florida 15% broker's fee was a little high and asked if there was a possibility to bring it down to 10%. He replied, "then get an apartment in florida" and then asked me again, "can you afford it"? Told him, "yes I can, thats why I called you back. He asked again, " are you sure you can afford it"? with a very condescending tone of voice. �I replied, "that was a racist comment and I feel very offended by your comment". He replied "I don't care if you feel offended, I just care about the rent".
Im a 36 year old very successfull latin engineer making over $250k per year. How does a guy that makes 250k per year look?

sounds to me like you are the racist. he asked if you can afford it. not exactly the language i would use, but he didn't say "perhaps you'd be more comfortable in another area of the city--like east harlem".
and how does being from florida have anything to do with the broker fee being high? if you make a quarter million a year then this shouldn't matter either. one of the few valid reasons to reduce a brokers commission is because the potential tenant really can't afford it.
