Flooring costs

I have two contractor bids coming in at such different prices, I need a little advice. The install price is close but one contractor is charing $2500 to demo the existing parquet floor and $2000 to install baseboards (both seem very high) and the other does not have demo as a separate line item but part of the whole install and their cost of baseboard install is $700. Any input on this very welcome. The area in question is 520 square feet.
