Discussion about
We just moved into a prewar apartment and I keep finding mysterious little piles of yellowish "dust" -- mostly in or under new-ish woodwork (cabinets, shelving) put in by previous owner, but also along original pocket doors. Googling suggests powderpost beetles. Anyone had these and what did you do? Can you recommend an exterminator experienced with this? Usual building exterminator was doom and gloom, didn't even want to look.
In our experience, Arrow is the best. They are professional and knowledgeable. Have them come once a month instead of the building's exterminator and you will be pest-free. They've rid us of termites, carpenter ants, regular ants, carpet beetles and a few rodents. They got rid of the plague of mice in my mother's prewar apartment when the building's guy gave up.
Columbiacounty probably has some ideas of exterminators.
