Discussion about
"...New York City employers in January added the highest number of jobs in a single month in 23 years, according to new figures released Thursday..." http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052970204781804577270002394644164.html?mod=dist_smartbrief Bullish! And for the first time ever, I am not being sarcastic when I say it!!!
The biggest gaining categories were retail, education, and health.
Great for NYC... not great for the high end. Wall Street added some, but we know that total income is down huge, so just more folks to spread it on...
That has to be why properties in Harlem are going up,
lmfao,,,
Am I the only one who thinks the (m-o-m and y-o-y) numbers are bad?
NYC seasonally-adjusted unemployment:
Jan 2012: 9.3%
Dec 2011: 9.1%
Jan 2011: 8.9%
I bet reny thinks they are good
personal experience observation: while companies are definitely doing some hiring here and there, these numbers are a fraction of the postions CUT in the last few years that are now finally being restaffed by overqualified candidates.

report abuse Jim, if you'll recall, and im sure others do, it took me a few seconds to conceive my last awesomely effective plan to shut you up, a few more minutes to collect the necessary info while baiting you to post nasty shit on MY que and then few hours after that to actually carry out my brilliant plan while you wrapped your adorable brain around what was happening. if you would like me.to put some actual thought and effort into dispaching you for good this time, by all means throw down Mr. hones. I could certainly use the distraction. challenge?
i just recall that you are a vile cunt. go ahead. "out" me. please. asap.
don't be ridiculous, Jim. that would get me in trouble. you're the only one with trouble on the horizon. challenge accepted. but I cant start until tomorrow, have plans tonight. bye bye Jim.
hi huntersburg, it has been too long. hope you're well.
Thanks lucille, everything's good except my aching head. lucillebluthburg and jim_honesburg10 are fighting.
more of a cry for attention than a fight.
Jim is really a doll, he knows how cathartic this will be. such a dear friend.
oh, good to hear. How are your girls?

to give you something to do tonight other than play with w67's balls.
Actually Jim, I'm not sure that columbiacounty is invited by w67 anymore.
You may not have noticed, but columbiacounty doesn't seem to be in the same insider 67 club as falcogold1 and inododo. As much as I disagree with inododo's misleading propaganda, he has some intellect. And falcogold is a friendly alanhart lite and with poor spelling... and I do miss alanhart. On the other hand - columbiacounty - when was the last time you read anything even attempting to be meaningful from columbiacounty, and don't say it's because he's using dial-up from his place 12 hours away (by buggy) in Columbia County, NY: http://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=Broadway+and+178th+Street&daddr=Columbia,+NY&hl=en&ll=41.607228,-73.718262&spn=2.049463,5.410767&sll=41.60762,-73.74642&sspn=2.049463,5.410767&geocode=FfRLbwId6MyX-yn7OO0-oPbCiTFtOdm0h_JI3Q%3BFYR7hgIdi5Kd-ymXTChjaI3diTHLDnN_kKVxsQ&dirflg=b&mra=ltm&t=m&z=8&lci=bike
NYC seasonally-adjusted unemployment:
Jan 2012: 9.3%
Dec 2011: 9.1%
Jan 2011: 8.9%
Now, compare that with the entire country's stats:
Jan 2012: 8.3%
Dec 2011: 8.5%
Jan 2011: 9.1%
So Jason, please explain how these numbers look bullish for NYC.
really?
Lucille must have had a tiring night grinding against strangers for money and is getting a late start today.
being a crack whore has caused her to sleep a beautiful sunday away on top of neglecting her children. mr. bluth is well to be away from her.
Yesterday was indeed pretty rough, I appreciate your concern Jim. Its kind of fun being single again, and that's the truth. If by neglecting my children you mean pay their beloved regular sitter to hang out with them while I sleep in, then sure. Can't afford help for the unfortunate mrs. Hones? Too bad.
As far as Brooklyn, it's still on my list but I have to resolve some other things first. Jim, not that I'm not flattered by your concern and devotion to the particulars of my life, but i have to put it out there that mrs. Hones cannot possibly be comfortable with it. Maybe less time following me around the Internet? Btw, Project Isolation is underway. Let me know when you start to notice something. Bye bye Jim.
OK,.waiting.
looks like this stupid jersey quiff has left the board and good riddance.
