Great locaion; poor light; nice space although will be difficult to make it a 2 bedroom; OK kitchen and baths; but not 1600SF....more like 1300SF. 1.2M
jd, it is 45*35 less some deductions ex the exterior wall (even though it is customary to include half the exterior walls). Def 1500 sq ft and I am very conservative in how I measure. Living room is 22 ft wide. Easy 2 b/r. Previous listing had a 2 bed layout.
Owner seems to have done a great job of creating a white elephant. Very high maintenance for a one-bedroom that would be essentially the most expensive in the building. This is good example of how most combinations don't ultimately make any financial sense. This one isn't selling anytime soon. Market of buyers looking for one-bedrooms this expensive in this type of building is very small.
This guy trying to scalp someone for a buckfifty after a few years, I'd say good luck. Village is a strong market, but we are seeing "prime" RE shrink in manhattan.. many more areas succumbing to the fall. I am going to get my popcorn out and watch-- should be interesting to see if any of these guys can make $

kylewest, it is combination of 1 bed and studio, easily 2 bed. In any case, where do you think it will clear.
