Because they have been trying to sell it basically since 2008 to no avail

STREETEASY HISTORY
04/03/2008
Previously Listed by Halstead Property at $820,000.
10/15/2008
Delisted by Halstead Property. Last priced at $795,000.
01/03/2012
Listed by Halstead Property at $645,000.
02/07/2012
Price decreased by 8% to $595,000.

That is the price you pay when you price an apt way too high. After that it is a slow bleed.

So it was delisted in 2008 for a full 3.5 years, but backdoorlady23 still calls it a bleed.
Anything of note happen in the past 3.5 years?

And as nada has pointed out time and again. No way does owning beat renting at theses prices...

4C appears to have no view and the maintenance is super high per square foot. Sure, there's a PT doorman, but honestly the live-in super is more important since all you need a doorman for is receiving packages and security, but I've personally never needed security m-f 9-5. Only at night and on the weekends. And it's not even clear from the floorplan whether or not there's a dishwasher. 9D with the same floorplan is listed as a 2 bedroom (if you count a 7X12 dining area as a bedroom) and listed at $725K
