Discussion about
I have a nasty Condo Board. What is a reasonable time for a condo-board to sign off on a buyer's board package. How can I get them to move. They're just jealous I sold my place.

Just have your attorney remind them that a condo is real property - yours to buy and sell without encumberance. Then inform them of the closing date and moving date. Basically, just make it clear that their approval is little more than a formality.

Have you and are you going through the managing agent? What's their relationship with the board? Is it a small building?

So what if someone had a nasty coop board? What would be a reasonable time for sign-off? (And the managing agent and the board are in bed with each other and are 33.3% the exact same person)

Coop and Condo boards are different. Condo's only have the right of first refusal, thus east_ciders comments. T

my offer was accepted on jan 25 and i closed on march 1 a few years ago. i was told that was extremely quick for any condo board (and mine put me through the ringer). I basically had to call them virtually every other day.
