Rockefeller apartments-24 west 55th

Looked to buy there about five years ago. Was told board was very strict and building was kind of stuffy. Overall, I was put off by the tourist centric location, don't want to have elbow away people from Omaha when I go out for a quart of milk (or have to pay "milk the tourist" prices for my daily essentials either).

There are some really nice buildings in the low to mid fifties west of fifth. Rockefeller apartments has some amazing apartments, but the proximity is problematic. Stuffy board? No problem, there are other options and they need to loosen up. If you want to go out for a quart of milk, where do you go? Groceries? It's always an issue where you have tourists galore and nowhere to find basic staples or have to schlep too far. No thanks.

Bill7284, could you mention some of the nice apartments in the mid 50s west of fith? Like the location and would love to hear what is out there.
