The real estate market in New York City has been impacted heavily by international buyers. New York is a competitive city%u2014here one competes with the elites, not just from America, but from all over the world. With Russian oligarchs snatching up pricey pied-a-terres and Chinese business men readily paying a premium, it is no surprise that many people have started paying attention to the notable real estate transactions made by foreign buyers in the United States, especially in Manhattan. The New York Times is no exception to such interest. It seems as if right now the whole world envies those of us who speak Russian and work in Real Estate%u2014such agents are assumed to have a %u201Cleg up%u201D on the competition. To an extent, this is true. Being a broker whose client base is primarily Russian is indeed an incredible experience and all my clients are a pleasure to work with.
