Construction on West 54th & 8th Avenue

Hi dbp & cliff702. I don't really follow this neighborhood, but I have a friend who lives across the street from all the development, and I send him info when I come across it:

Thanks, tenemental. I live on the corner of 52nd and 8th and walk by the demolition every day.
We renters are always looking for the next best deal and 230 West 55th (The Premiere) is in my sights. The new construction site almost abuts this residential building and the apartments I might want are almost directly up against the hole in the ground. Articles you attached help me know that I should wait until 2010 if I want to sleep past 7am on any weekday morning.
