Discussion about
When I checked about 90 minutes ago, there was a thread started by newbie08 on 172 East 4th Street and now it's gone. Also missing is my reply on the "Construction on West 54th & 8th Avenue" thread and a reply from suz on the "Mortgage rate predictions - up or down in the next 2-3 weeks?" thread. Did the system have a hiccup? Is somebody flagging postings for no reason? OK, I just refreshed and newbie08's thread is back, but it says it's only 10 minutes old...
tenemental - i thought i had done something wrong or lost my mind - but same thing - I just reposted by post
Sorry about that. We reset some servers at StreetEasy and the post happened at just the wrong moment, it should be there now.
I re-posted the most important part of my reply which is a link to a Bloomberg article that explains what's been happening in the mortgage backed securities markets, including fannies and freddies and how this has been/may continue to impact mortgage rates (ie, mortgage rates are tied to 10 yr treasuries, not fed funds).
Good to know the time/space continuum has been preserved.
Not for Eliot Spitzer!!
What I'd like to know, poorislady, is why with all the great prostitutes in DC, he thought he'd have to import one from NYC. Maybe NYC does have the best prostitutes. Could this explain why housing prices are doing okay? Everybody wants to be in NYC!!!
(I mean, he was at the Mayflower, couldn't he have called the Mayflower Madam? After all, they didn't call her that for nothing.)
I hear ya, Tony. Sounds like Eliot doesn't have smooth talk at the bar to seduce the ladies . . . Poor wretch. Forking out over 4K for some nookie AND torpedoing his career ---- jumpin' jehosaphat. I'm embarrassed for the guy . . .
When truth prevails, Eliot Spitzer is a holy man.
