Discussion about
is it ok to live out my security. i had put down 2 months rent and been renting this house for 4 years. i dont have money to move any other way. should i at least send notice to LL

Normally no, but the best answer will come from your LL. Security is usually refunded after a move-out and inspection of the place so both parties can deem the place is good condition. Your LL may be different though, I would reach out to them. I hope that helps.

Talk to your landlord. If you have been there for 4 years, you probably are a good tenant (pay your rent, develop a relationship with the LL etc.) and the LL may work with you.

I feel over 50% of the problems with the T and the LL can be handled over the phone with direct communication. Give the LL a call.

My guess is that they won't let you live out, but maybe you can exchange some deal in order to live out on the Security Deposit (paint, keep it clean or yardwork etc.).

since you said "house" not apartment, you are probably not in manhattan. i would talk to owner, since it isn't manhattan, you can probably work something out.
