Brownstone collapse in Harlem

Anybody got any info? Apparently it was being renovated & it pancaked, all the floors just fell down, one on top of the other. That was an 'oops'. I often think of that sort of thing when somebody says, "I'm just removing a wall. I don't need a DOB permit, do I?"

Thanx, NYC, good info. The foundation was dodgy & with the other houses removed on either side, down it went. There's an old listing here on StreetEasy; it was listed at 950. The floorplan is interesting; the upper floors were each 2 apartments with a shared bathroom in between. Thanx again!
