Any info about the building? Staff? Area? Prices seem reasonable?

I think the East Winds is one of the best values on the UES. The building has a relatively high number of unsold sponsor units (~40% if I remember correctly), which has made financing tricky at times depending on the buyer and lender. That's why deals can be had here.

seems like the combo apartments look bigger than the square footage suggests...

My fried lives there. He has a 1 BR on the 24th floor. Is not great but not bad. Walls are thin and the lobby smells funny at times.

I live in the building and have to endure the sound of drilling every day (even weekends). Does anyone know when the exterior and interior renovations are expected to completed?
