Discussion about 46 Commerce Street #3
This is Carly Simon's apartment. Originally listed in 2008 for $3.8 million.

I saw it. Small but totally beautiful. I don't see it trading this price, but I think 2.5/2.6 is do-able.

Nobody would remotely pay $2,500,000 for this in the Village. You can do so much better. And it's a shoe box. WIth a bathtub in the den.

she originally bought 2 units in 2003 for $1.2 million and combined them. it totals about 1,300 sq. ft. i do like it, but would change some of the decor. nevertheless, not sure if it will sell for this price.

Yes AU, one can clearly see it's a combo, and even if we assumed you where to buy just one of the two original units in the prime village as a tiny one bed one bath, it wouldn't cost anywhere NEAR $1,300,000.

It's a warren of tiny rooms. And what's with the budget dorm fridge?

This is like combining 2 $600k 1-bedrooms, so maybe $1.5M max.

I've never understood "open concept" bathing.

I'm with kyle on that. I want some privacy in the bathroom.

"...your view of Commerce Street will draw you in and make you want to stay."
I can't see the view of Commerce Street until I'm in the apt.
