I'm sure it's a typo. Probably meant 2006.

ACRIS has it as 1996, but the deed doesn't explicitly give the amount. The NYS tax is written twice as $18,550, so that times 0.004 is where the $4,637,500 came from.

I think the $18,550 must be incorrect. Maybe it was really $8,550, which'd be a $2,137,500 sale price.

The same house sold for about $790,000 in 1984, per the same calculation from NYS tax.
