building at 225 Rector Place

Discussion about 225 Rector Place in Battery Park City

has anyone seen the apartments here since they have gone back on the market? layouts for 2 bedrooms look really nice, even though the square footage is on the low end. any idea why the taxes are lower here than in the surrounding buildings?

about how low are the taxes? The reason I ask is because some buildings inBPC have much higher carrying charges than others.

I wenrt to see the apartments recently. I did like the 2 bedrooms as well but slightly on the small side. Taxes are not that low vs Others - $1/sqft. The difference between this and 333 rector or 30 west is that the 2 bedrooms are much smaller. 225 rector is also a much bigger bldg than the other 2
