Appearance of Citiquiet Windows

Hi everyone- I just read all the posts about soundproof windows. It seems like they are effective for the noise reduction but my only concern is that our window is not deep enough so we would need a little extension to get that depth. Has anyone dealt with this previously? How do the window look with the additional extension? Thanks in advance!

Ideally you'd have a 6" gap or more, but places like citiquiet will always give you a free estimate/measurement to see if your sill is ideal. Their sales guy, Marc, knows what he's doing and isn't just looking to close a deal. He'll be upfront with you, so give them a call.
