I figured there would be a ton of them on this site but I don't see a lot out there so if you have a contractor that you liked, please post their name, contact information and the size and cost (if you would) of the job. I am looking for a kitchen renovation that includes, Demo of the cabinets, countertops and backsplash. The appliances are good so they will be removed temporarily and then put back after new cabinets are in. New Floors will be installed, some plumbing and electrical will have to be done first. Water line will go in under the floors, 4-6 new electrical sockets added, cabinets installed, backsplash installed. I had a contractor do some work 1.5 years ago and he quoted me 15K for the work and I buy all the supplies. I thought that seemed fair. If others have done it for less, please let me know. Also kitchen is 9x12. [less]
Uwsbuyer229,

uwsbuyer229,
I had a good contractor do my kitchen, bathroom and floors throughout my apartment. He's a young and very knowledgeable guy. He charged me about $18K for the kitchen but I didn't have to pay for the supplies, the kitchen is 12x7 and it looks beautiful. I would use him again and recommend for any job, his name is Adnan and his email is lekic100@gmail.com.

Try Martin Barazorda of JC Martin & Sons (www.jcmartinrenovation.com), he's specific to Manhattan renovation projects and is highly sought after for full gut and kitchen / bath reno projects. His direct number is 347-234-3597, or office is 347-746-8439.
I had an excellent renovation done by DT cabinets. They were very fairly priced. The work was meticulous and they finished 1 week ahead of schedule. They beuilt custom sliding doors and closet doors to my specs.

Peter Demos of Chronos Contracting did a fantastic job renovating my 800 sf prewar one-bedroom apartment: plumbing and electrical work, new kitchen floor/cabinets/tile/countertop, some built-ins, refinished wood floor, reglazed bathtub, repairing and painting plaster walls.
I spoke with several contractors, his price was best and the work is beautiful. He also kept the peace with my building management, which has a lot of rules and keeps very close tabs on projects.

anewplace,
How DT cabinets priced the job for the closets and doors, was it per linear foot ?
Thanks
