Discussion about
Apologies for being rather off topic: with the market seriously down and the Euro seriously down are the car dealers going to suffer at the higher end? We are not making too many higher end cars in the U.S. today.

Lexus and Mercedes- Benz increased incentives 37 percent and 23 percent compared to BMW’s 0.8 percent gain, according to Santa Monica, California- based researcher TrueCar.com.

Newly minted dollars continue to to be pile up on the 1% side of things while the 99% fritter over the impending expence of a small almost valueless 2 br. apartment. Stimulus spending may have averted a fedora wearing apple selling enviornment but has had little effect on the causitive nature of our societal imbalance.

The powers that be are arguing for another credit fueled consumer borrowing binge. The regulators have pretty much given up on the 20% down payment mortgage.
