Has anyone used a good and reasonable bankruptcy attorney? A neighbor friend has just received a wage and bank garnishment notice and is afraid she will not be able to pay rent. I think the only option is to file an emergency stay. Any recommendations are most appreciated.

Recent amendmenrs to the automatic stay provisions of Bankruptcy Code
section 362(a) have rescinded the protection that filing bankruptcy
used to proivde to residential tenanta behind in patment of rent.

just deadbeat and stay, NYC tenant law provides the best protection
