Poor doorman service @ Aire

We recently a bad experience @ Aire with one of the doorman: Franck. He always argues about whether or not he should help carrying my wife's (that is 6 months pregnant) bags when she comes back from the grocery shop. He generally weights the bags and think about it for some time before deciding whether or not he should call a porter to help her out! All the other staff in the building but this doorman Franck is I would say quite obnoxious - You would think that living in a 5 star building like Aire gives you a 5 star service but it doesn't - I recommend the building to everyone but It would be nice for Rose Associates to improve their service and to bring more professionalism to the service. It's an overpriced building that should have top rated staff.

Whoever posted this comment is rude and spoiled. Frank is friendly, meticulous about his job, and I feel very safe on his watch. Ditto for all the concierges/doormen in this building. It's their job to screen who comes into the building, open the door and attend to other tenant matters from their post by the door -- not carry some whiny man's wife's groceries to the elevators (which are around the corner from the door). There are carts and porters for that. Better yet, the complainant could lend his wife a hand if he is so "concerned" about her.
