US kitchen cabinets that look European?

Hi - we want the look of Poggenpohl (which is similar to other European kitchen cabinetry with the sleek design). Poggenpohl told me it takes 4+ months to get their cabinets in from Europe. This feels like a very long time to wait and adds significant cost as I'm renting while renovating. Are there any US lines/manufacturors that have a similar look? Thanks.

if you are tight with money try ikea

Definitely at least check out some local custom shops. You can take a look at www.wishbonewoodworking.com (take a look at their blog under "links") and www.absolutewoodwork.com. Both do great work. I can email you some more recommendations if you like. And of course, if needed, I can help with design.
